Description
Baltic Birch is actually not a unique species of Birch, but is the general industry designation of plywood that comes from Russia and the nearby Baltics. This ply is often referred to specifically as Russian Baltic Birch, a name that delineates origin but also establishes the unique grading scale by which it is measured and sold. Here at Wood-Chip Lumber, we stock a large supply of high quality Russian Baltic Birch Plywood, sourced from long trusted suppliers and importers and available for sale at our South Florida location.

*Baltic Birch Grading: The grading standards for Baltic Birch plywood are established by the Russian government and described in the intergovernmental standard GOST 3916.1-96. Grading is given as the two outer faces of the plywood, in the format of front/back. For example, Baltic Birch with a “B/BB” grade would have a B grade front ply, and a BB grade back ply.
