All of our AB Marine plywoods are carb compliant and meet or exceed APA – the Engineered Wood Association’s industrial grade plywood standards for greater strength, durability, and stiffness when compared to standard plywood. AB Marine uses a water resistant phenolic glue, tools easily, and resists mold and mildew.

- Face: A-Grade Douglas-Fir veneer
- Core: B-Grade or better Western softwood
- Back: B-Grade Douglas Fir
*Note: A-Grade face panels should have no more than 9 repairs all completed with footballs. Each remaining layer including the core and back panel shall be B-Grade with no visible knots.

Additional suggestions for working with AB Marine Ply:
AB Marine can be sawn, routed, and drilled. Due to the cross-layer construction of the ply, nails, screws, and other fasteners may be placed near the panel edge without splitting the panel. (We suggest leaving 1/8” gaps between the panel edges.)
